Thanks for stopping by! I am a Pakistani Muslim-American photographer and an outdoors adventure explorer. I find inspiration in the untamed wilderness, and come alive in places that make me feel small. I am passionate about the preservation and conservation of the wilderness and the wildlife. I have backpacked in 8 states, including Yosemite and Maine's iconic 100-Mile Wilderness, and have trekked ~500 miles of the Appalachian Trail. My most recent adventures took me to Ecuador, where I swam with 6-feet-long sea turtles and all colors of underwater reef life in the Galapagos Islands. On mainland Ecuador, I summitted a 15,200 feet volcano, Cerro Rumiñahui.
When I am home, I am pursuing my interstellar dreams as a test lead and enginner on NASA’s Roman Space Telescope, and fangirling over the latest image from the James Webb Space Telescope. And of course, doing my best to never miss a sunset.
